The Wall is located in the upper left hand corner of the cemetery. It is surrounded by cannons cemented into the ground, which supported large gauge anchor chain. The numbering system begins on the left side nearest the street and progresses as one approaches the corner, with its terminus as the right hand corner. |

In addition to the children listed there was a daughter, Almira Andrine (b. 11 February 1841) who married (14 April 1863) Christian Henrik Arendrup, Governor 1855-1888 & 1889-1893. | |

Receiving his medical degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1799, he came to St. Thomas in 1802 becoming the next year surgeon of the garrison and later the regimental surgeon. Charlotte Antoinette Holten was the sister of Christian Ludvig Holten (1774-1829) Lt. Col. & Commandant of St. Thomas. They had ten children: 3 boys and 3 girls who grew to adulthood. Two are named on the plagues. Maria Helene Elisabeth married on 11 November 1826 to C. G. Erichson, Royal Bookkeeper on St. Croix where he died in 1842 - aged 50 years. In the obituary he is referred to as "Councellor & Captain . . . Knight of Danneborg, & Royal Treausurer." | |
